Artbox Collective's Story
We are a neurodiverse queer and trans-led art collective, we celebrate the transformative power of art and affirm the vibrant identities within our community. Our collective is a sanctuary where creativity and identity intersect, providing a space for therapeutic expression and activism, through our quarterly zine. In our upcoming monthly meet-ups, we want to create a safe environment to inspire and unite. ArtBox.Collective is a place to celebrate diverse voices and experiences within our community. Each edition of our zine is a mosaic of poetry, visual art, film, performance, and personal narratives that reflect our collective journey towards self-expression and liberation for all. We embrace the mantra that art is powerful and through our creative endeavours, we challenge societal norms, advocate for our rights, and celebrate the richness of our community.

We are a small queer art collective based between London/Brighton. Our ethos is inclusivity, safety, collaboration, empowerment, and visibility. We strive to amplify the creativity of LGBTQIA+ artists. If you would like to be a part of a queer art community by adding something to our first zine please get in touch by our submission form or emailing info@artboxcollective.com. All media art forms are encouraged to submit. Our first zine has an open theme that welcomes all LGBTQIA+ artists and topics to be explored through creative expression.
